Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I bring you all good news, since we will be having our next Met Club meeting in only a few short days! We will be meeting in ENR-223 at 9 pm on Thursday, November 19. We have some important things to discuss and decide, as well has have some fun!
-Weather Trivia will be back to test our knowledge on the not-so-well-known factoids in Meteorology
-T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST! Submit your idea for a T-shirt to me before the meeting. Everyone will vote on all the designs and the winner will receive a FREE MET CLUB T-SHIRT!! I ask that you keep it to one image and preferably in one color, due to costs of printing.
-FREE FOOD will make its return to the meeting!
-If people bring them, we will play board games after the meeting! We have played games like Apples to Apples in the past, along with others!
-We will discuss our End of the Semester/Holiday Party! All ideas are welcome(like a viewing of Twister perhaps?)
-Want to do something that the Meteorology Club doesn't do right now? Come to the meeting with your suggestions!
-Photo Contest, where the winner will receive a prize. Submissions are going to be limited to one per person. Send them to our club VP Christopher Alston at wilals@eden.rutgers.edu.
-Snow Pool entries are due at the meeting!
Also, I ask that everyone who is attending the AMS trip to please come to this meeting for some very important information regarding the trip.

Hello Everyone,
We have another meteorology club event coming up for next week. Next Wednesday, November 4th, take a break from studying and come on out for Applebee's Night. Just a quick way to get together and have some fun! We'll meet at the PAL building @ 9pm and go to the Milltown Applebee's, right down Ryders Lane. A facebook invite should be going out soon. Right now, I'm looking for people who are interested in joining. Please email me back as soon as possible if you would like to come, so I am able to get a list going. Thanks, it's sure to be a blast!

It's that time for our second Meteorology Club Meeting!!
It will be taking place:
Thursday, October 8
9 pm
ENR-223
Just a few things that we will be doing:
-We will pick a T-shirt Design Winner. Winner will get their T-shirt FREE! (submit ideas to Geof, geofgrek@eden.rutgers.edu)
-PHOTO CONTEST! We will pick 2 winners since we did not have one last month. Winners will receive a prize (send pictures to Chris, wilals@eden.rutgers.edu)
-We will be handing out packets for our Yankee Candle Fundraiser
-Discussing a Meteorology Club Homecoming Tailgate
-Weather Trivia!(This time with prizes, I promise)
-After the meeting, we will be playing board games so feel free to bring your favorite board game!
-Plus many other fun things!
Be sure to come out, it is sure to be a blast!

Hello Everyone!
We have a date for the first Meteorology Club social event of the year!
Bowling Night will be on Wednesday, September 23rd @ 9:15pm at Brunswick Zone Carolier (out on Route 1). A facebook event invite should be going out soon as well. It'll be an $8 cover charge per person, plus .50 for shoes and .50 per game. We went a few times last year, and everyone had a lot of fun!
Please email me back if you're interested in going, and whether you will need a ride there or will meet us there on your own. Also, please let me know if you're available to drive. Thanks!
