In response to an invitation from the Cuban government, I spent September 14-16, 2010, in Havana attending a scientific conference on nuclear winter. My keynote speech was attended by Comandante Fidel Castro Ruz, and he used the occasion to support his call for nuclear disarmament. They treated me like a VIP. I will describe this surreal experience, using pictures and video, and show you Fidel's signature in the memoirs he gave to me.
