Dr. Krogmann has broad experience in solid waste management and engineering and more recently in sustainability engineering. Her research and outreach include studies related to the management of biodegradable organic wastes; landfilling; recycling and solid waste public policy issues. Her most recent research combines field- and simulation-based studies to investigate the potential for achieving sustainable design in the provision and use of energy and water systems in urban buildings.
