DES Faculty Positions

Rutgers University - School of Environmental and Biological Sciences announces a cluster hiring initiative in Environmental Sciences

DES is pleased to announce the hiring of two new faculty members, Annmarie Carlton (starting July 1, 2010) and Benjamin Lintner (starting September 1, 2009).

Annmarie Carlton is an Atmospheric Chemist. She conducts 3-dimensional photochemical modeling for air quality and climate with an emphasis on aqueous and heterogeneous chemistry, biogenic and anthropogenic influences, effects of land use changes, and atmospheric processing.

Benjamin Lintner is a Tropical Meteorologist. His research addresses the behavior of tropical climate, including spatial and temporal variations in tropical precipitation, sensitivity of convective margins to climate change, tropospheric tracer transport, and carbon - climate interactions.
