Decolonizing Disarmament


Dr. Vincent Intondi, professor of history and author African Americans Against the Bomb: Nuclear Weapons, Colonialism, and the Black Freedom Movement and Saving the World from Nuclear War: The June 12, 1982 Disarmament Rally and Beyond, will explore the lack of diversity in the nuclear studies field examining the history of the antinuclear movement and focusing on the inclusion of those who have historically been marginalized and often still struggle to have their voices included in the arms control and nonproliferation space today.
