From Grad School to PFAS and Back Again — Musing on a Career in Environmental Engineering.
With an over 35-yr career in the environmental industry, Dr. Schneider will show how the lessons you are learning today will help you to analyze and solve environmental issues that have not yet arisen.
Part personal history and part brainstorming session, he will lead you through his approach to addressing contaminants in water by assessing their physical, chemical, and biological properties and the advantages and disadvantages of available treatment technologies through an interactive session.
Finally, he will share some of his views on how to navigate career paths for new environmental engineers.
